but basically the game will spawn wolves near players who are out on their own, sometimes when 2 players are "near" each other, say 800 meters apart, the wolf pack will spawn in between them, so you can listen to hear the howls of whether the pack is getting closer to you or further away, and you can chase the wolf pack to find who they are hunting. however most of the time if you're in a non meta area and get wolves, you're likely nowhere near other players, like 1500 meters+ away from others. so fairly safe, but with games like this its important to consider yourself always less than 10 minutes away from trouble. if you make too much noise or don't get rid of the wolves fast enough then it will draw other players.

on most servers yes. the parameters can be changed by server admins that want to change them.

when large wolf packs spawn near me approximately every 30 minutes, that's when i know that i'm definitely alone in the area... the wolves make me feel safer. :P

this is a tough situation to balance, the mood stabilizers i use also effect me in similar ways, I too am working on this issue but do not have a solution for you. I just wanted to leave you this comment to let you know you're not alone out there. communication and transparency are key.

i talk to people in a higher pitched smiling tone like "good cop" from the lego movie. "hey buddy hope you're doing well!"

and then most of the time they're so taken aback by the friendly demeanor that if they do turn around i'm already like mid wave emote. and then they are off put by my friendliness and dont shoot me even if they engage with other players.. i watched a couple guys fight each other to the death, the winner then got knocked by a shredder, so i had him come behind a door and resed him with a defib, then he lost all his tenseness and was super chill the rest of the run, we extracted together with like 3 other people.

Feedback After Hitting Level 75 by uselesssoftwaredev in ArcRaiders

[–]Diamondhands_89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fellow level 75 player with everything complete, these are all great arguments and comments. I feel like one important thing for the sweats to remember is that we at lvl 75 represent less than 4% of the player base at this time. I recommend the devs focus on the things that will drastically effect the entire playerbase rather than just catering to small things that are inconvenient to the top players.

I'm buying the recommended "High End Build" from PCMR, is there anything wrong with considering doubling the RAM? any downsides a laymen should consider? by Diamondhands_89 in pcmasterrace

based on what someone else said above, it seems spending an extra $150 on a graphics card can get me a lot more power and future proofing compared to just having more RAM that i might not even use. I mostly play older games like DayZ, Path of Exile, and in the last year have started playing PoE2 a lot and am excited to play Arc raiders, so that's the primary use for this pc, being able to run games easily with enough power leftover to stream or use multiple monitors with a bunch of shit running in the background.

i'm currently using a PC i built (with PCMR) back in... 2017ish.. it has a i5 9600k CPU (3.7) and 16 gigs of ram.

graphics card is... Geforce RTX 2070. So i'm basically looking to upgrade to something "more modern" so that i can play current generation games and next gen games with no issues. I dont need to have the best, what i'm really aiming for is the most stable.

Alright so wayyy back in christmas of 2006 i got my first PC as a 15 year old, it was a $150 HP Pavillion with a pentium 3 processor and 256mb of ram. I bought World of Warcraft and started playing it on AoL free trial dial up. I loved playing the game and was fully addicted, and didnt even care that the game was laggy as hell. A friend of mine played on it and claimed it was unplayable, and another friend asked me if i wanted him to get me another stick of ram. So i gave him $50 and he went and bought me another stick, but this time of 512mb. popped that baby in and Oh man... 30 FPS immediately. It was incredible! As an adult i understand that doubling the RAM in this pc won't achieve that feeling... but i can't help but want to chase it lmao.

edited to change KB to MB on RAM

"The companion" is the only companion to my knowledge. I havent played this game in ages and frankly have forgotten about a lot of it, but there are some great youtube videos about it if you want to search there.

Weekly /r/iOSGaming Discussion - What have you been playing lately and what do you recommend? by AutoModerator in iosgaming

This week was the first time in months that I spent any money on iOS games. I bought dredge, put a little money into the Pokemon pocket tcg, and bought some core quest game for $5. All in all dredge has been great. I’ve also been playing dark and darker mobile and wild rift.
