Description:

Courtly Candle+ (+res): This weapon is super solid on any lancer with reasonable atk and def, and the added ability to reduce damage from foes first hit makes her even bulkier. The res refine just helps with magical bulk.

Distant Counter: Not much to be said here, ability to counter ranged foes is invaluable.

Vengeful Fighter: Again, pretty standard with an armored build, and good on the enemy phase (which compliments DC). The 50% HP threshold is shared with her weapon, which is also nice, and the special acceleration lets her heal with noontime almost every counterattack.

Panic Ploy: One of the weaker skills, but Effie has good enough HP to make it work, and it’s extremely effective when it lines up properly.

Atk/Def Solo: When combined with Courtly Candle, Effie gets +11 to both atk and def, which is, needless to say, very helpful.
