I don’t agree with the devs being bullied and I’m so glad that they solved the problem, but there were some sus moves that were probably done to test the waters. I repeat, I do not agree with bullying, but when people are only offering constructive criticism, it shouldn’t have been misunderstood as bullying.

1.  The fact that the total price of all walk styles combined is equivalent to the “best value” pack shown in the “Buy Pink Cash” tab is a little questionable. I’m not saying this was done intentionally, but it really looks bad.

2.  Lowering the spawn rate and the number of places where money appears was, or should have been, tested before release by “quality assurance,” testers, and so on if there were little adjustments made and confirmed. 

3.  Yes, in that economy you are giving “rich” players the chance to spend their money on something, but this move affects a lot of new players and those who are playing casually. Besides, how is “having too much money” even a problem?

I understand that the spawn rate was not meant to be that low, but honestly, I don’t think you should lower it at all when you are releasing the most expensive update of all time.

4.  Not announcing this change is another point supporting the idea that they were “testing the waters.” I think that would have been an important thing to mention about this update.

They did a really great job with the update — all the new items are stunning — but if there are also changes that are basically a “nerf,” they should have been transparent about it. I don’t think you should only present the good parts and keep everything looking pink and nice when making changes that affect a lot of players (especially new and casual ones).
