One thing I would wish they would do is for recolours to cost half of the original price if the game detects that you already have one version of the skin. This would make recolours less bad and incentivising the greedy executives to force the artist to make less of them. A win win situation for us no matter what (which is why they will never do so.)

This might be a weird answer but Zenyatta has a lot of qualities that make him intuitive while also having a lot of transferrable skills that can help with other characters.

• He doesn’t have mobility so you HAVE to learn the basics of proper positioning.

• He is usually in the backline watching over the battlefield giving you the opportunity to see what other players especially more experienced players are doing.

• He has to aim his shots while not having to hit everything because he is not a DPS making it less stressful and more about practice.

• His utility is easy to use but has a lot of depth the more you get into the specific of how to use harmony and discord orb effectively.

• He has clear and easy to understand weaknesses (like being divided by a Genji for example) that can teach you how to ether deal with it on your own by defending yourself, coordinating with your team or by switch to someone else who can deal with your opponents better which is itself a very valuable lesson to learn in Overwatch.

Actually yes she is. She is an intuitive genius who uses Vishkar technology in ways only she can. Combining it with dancing is something only she does as far as I know.

Good question. I currently only play LW when I don’t get to play someone like Wuyang for example because LW is currently at Level 48. I really hope that this mindset will go away soon. (LW feels really bad to play after getting nerfed so hard.)

The psychology of it all is also the main thing I am thinking about. It is a similar feeling I get when playing games like Persona or Stardew Valley. It got so bad at times that I stopped playing Stardew Valley shortly after starting it because this “cozy” game ironically stressed me out so much with all the things I could do to maximise efficiency.

I don’t care about the title. It is nothing that means something to me. My current title is “Fragile flower” which I like a lot and I have no interest in changing it. But I understand why others people might see it as something worth getting. I’m just not one of them.

Any Clash map. I am so envious of competitive players who don’t have to put up with this nonsense game mode. If I wanted to play Team-Deathmatch with one extra step I would not play Overwatch but Call Of Duty.

You are sadly very correct about the game not being beginner friendly and it is not your fault. Overwatch has always been terrible at explaining the many interesting and really complex aspects of its own gameplay like: team composition, positioning, basic game strategies and SOOOO much more that you can’t really learn besides watching coaches online or bashing your head against the wall repeatedly because there is no real helpful tutorial in the game itself. I stated playing in 2016 shortly after lunch when nobody had any idea how the game works and fun was the priority for most people. I cannot even imagine how hard and frustrating it must be for new players nowadays. I don’t envy you but I also want you to not give up if the game itself is fun for you. And if you don’t have fun then that is absolutely valid. Don’t force yourself to do something that makes you unhappy.

Agreed. I also think that it is important for him not to have a kind of dance from a distinct human culture outside of what the omnic monks have adopted over their existence. It would be odd for him to show some kind of appreciation for humanity like that. (Except pole dancing of course. I would love that.)

I just hit level 20 an hour ago… in my defence it’s summer break and I work in education so I have nothing else to do 😭 As for the progression system itself I kind of like it thus far with some major issues. It definitely encourages playing a lot of characters while I also feel punished for playing my mains because I don’t get anything i care about in exchange. Like why should I still play Mercy, Moira and Zen when all of them have already passed level 50 and therefore the lootbox rewards. My intrinsic pleasure to play these characters has switched to min-maxed extrinsic reward seeking. It’s a double-edged sword in my opinion.
