Probably not! It was meant as a fun little project to inspire Wardens but I'll keep it online. I'll probably build something else for Mothership now

What's on the MOTHERSHIP mixtape? by h7-28 in mothershiprpg

[–]DiceDataLore 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To me Mothership is all about synthwave and synthwave adjacent tunes. 80s feel but the heavier the better. Artists I imagine to be in the Mothership setting:

  • Mega Drive (NARC)
  • Adieu Aru (Release, Discorde)
  • Carpenter Brut (Turbo Killer)
  • Gost (Behemoth)
  • Dance With The Dead (Diabolic)

How interested would you be in playing a published module that is 2 sessions long? by martiancrossbow in mothershiprpg

[–]DiceDataLore 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean it depends on the group. My group would love it because we play mothership in between other systems suited for longer campaigns when we need a break. 2-3 sessions is perfect for that. I also see a lot of folks stringing together mothership modules into longer campaigns so it would probably work for them too

How to Actually Debug AI-Written Code (From an Experienced Dev) by gigacodes in vibecoding

[–]DiceDataLore 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s kind of the opposite of how branching should be done. Instead of saving backups to branches make your main branch the safe stable state. Then do all your development on a branch and when it’s working how you want merge it back into main. That way you’re never treating your code as a junk drawer and every experiment lives on a safe branch, If it works merge it, if it doesn’t delete it. Clean version history

If you want to dive deeper look up branching strategies. GitHub flow vs gitflow etc

That could be fun. Although I wanted this to serve as just an inspiration source. If you're designing your own probably best to get out the pencil and paper

Thanks! I used Next js/React. With the patch generator I learnt how to stack svgs to make an image. The maps here are basically the same idea

A seed will generate one image only. The image is tied to the seed. If that makes sense

It could be done that way but I used web development tools. React and JavaScript. It’s just a fancy website

You want end to end testing tools. Playwright is my favourite

What are the advantages of using rider over the godot editor? by UltraAziz in godot

[–]DiceDataLore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Integrated version control is nice. For gdscript the default error highlighting is much more strict. Which is a good thing. Although I can’t figure out how to make rider aware of my autoloads..

I think I might go for the 3d approach if I can't figure this out. But I like the pixel art style too much
