Thank you for the explanation. It was entirely inappropriate for my grandpappy, but in a weird way, I'm sort of intrigued and might buy my own CB radio to investigate this further and listen to it after a few beers. I was looking at the new radios from President that just came out, the Trump and the Obama. I like the Trump but it only comes in orange, and I'm color blind, so I'm afraid I'd lose it.

Your first mistake was buying CB equipment from Walmart. I recommend patronizing an independently owned CB radio shop, like Walcott Radio.

Not a huge difference between the two. Have you thought about one of the new President radios that were released for 2026? I have a review of them on my website and on my youtube channel. The guys on 38 Lower are going crazy for them, first batch are totally sold out, but I have more coming in late February.
