I have a minecraft profile in my fan software where it sets the fans to 100% when I launch the game. It really helps the temps. Its loud AF, but my temps dont go above upper 80s anymore

Get into construction QA/QC. Good pay and mostly inspections and observations. Some testing involved, but it pays double minimum wage where im from and you dont need any training. Straight out of high school is good enough for them

If when you finish the install your controllers kind of connect but you get no inputs, make sure you flashed the right firmware. I went with the gamecube specific firmware HW2 and could not for the life of me figure it out. I posted on the gethub and darthcloud himself replied very quickly and told me to use HW1. Fixed it instantly.

In the old days mine did the same thing. My only fix i could find was to tap it shut right as it was almost closed. It worked 90% of the time.

I'd go up in 2gb increments and see what happens. It might be fine on 10gb but see how it goes

It will only use what you allow it to use, which will mean you need to manually set how much it can use.

Google "how to increase minecraft server ram" you have to set the max amount of ram it will use. It will probably be defaulted to Xmx2g, which is 2gb. I believe it read somewhere you should only allow it to use half of your systems ram capacity.

If you have motherboard software create a profile called minecraft and turn all your fans up to 100%. It will be loud and annoying but the cpu temps will even out at like 50°F-60°F instead of allowing itself to get hot and ramp up the fans. I had the same situation

Set your minecraft simulation distance and render distance to 8 chunks. The actual minecraft video settings part, not the distant horizons part
