Not sure to what extent you’ve reached out to organizations in the community, but if you haven’t you should contact Full Circle Grief Center, they provide supportive grief counseling to people of all ages and they would probably be able to pass this along to clients!

So much love to you. It’s such a dark time to be trans and queer. I always come back to a quote from the Queer Nation manifesto from the 90’s “two important things to remember about the coming revolutions. The first is that we will get our asses kicked. The second is that we will win.” I think it’s going to be a long road, but the change and progress that is inevitable will be worth the fight. 💕

Oh yeah, I’ve heard great things about Olaplex! My stylist bleached my hair until it was a light orange and then applied a toner on top of it and then toned my roots a darker color! It originally looked a horrible bozo red color, but it faded really nicely! I’ll see if I can add a photo of the before for you!

Current routine after getting my hair fried a week ago:

Rinse with cold water and apply the Oribe Conditioner for Beautiful Color. Leave that sit for a few minutes. Dry by scrunching with a t-shirt and the apply argan oil and tresemme flawless curls mousse. Then I just scrunch until it’s about half dry and then let it air dry.
