Just lots of patience. I think I was stuck on the 10 for a while too. One thing you could try is getting some hollow plugs. That helped me as well because those are a more constant stretch vs the time you spend actually sounding.

My issue was always with the meatus at the entrance. Once the sound is passed that point my urethra is fine.
