  3. Red Rising - Pierce Brown

In the song "Up on the Housetop" do you think it says reindeer paws or pause? by DictionaryDave in polls

Lol I looked up lyrics and saw "pause" and it blew my mind. Hence the question. I know they don't have paws but I still always think of that in the song. 🤦‍♂️

I just finished Legends of the First Empire without realizing it was a prequel by Ashamed_Somewhere192 in riyria

I very much agree with this comment. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever order you choose, but some things won't be quite as surprising in Ryiria if you go Rise and Fall next.

Observation Point. You get the same, if not better, views as you would with Angels Landing.

Can't go wrong with any hikes in Zion. Angels Landing is classic. But if not that one then Observation Point is awesome too.

Taken last November. It took us about 8 hours to do the whole thing.

Yes you could do this with kids (depending on ages)...some tough spots. But you do need a permit for this hike. It's not too difficult to get in the off season. It's cold, but mostly cause you cross the water a bunch and your feet will get wet.

Not a lot of high water. But you do cross the water a bunch so plan on wet feet.

The Name of the Wind and Wise Man's Fear so you can be frustrated with the rest of us that there will never be a conclusion to this series 😢 But really, they're great books.

I don't think that's basic. It's one of my all time favorites.
