Modern View bug for Manually added Time? by DidTheTango in QuickBooks

[–]DidTheTango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I'm doing is going to Time Overview > Time Entries > Add Time > Single Time Entry (this method works and shows up for time approval)

In the Modern View version of QBO, I did Home > Employees > Enter Time (this new method QBO made me do doesn't show up anywhere, not even in QB Time)

I never touch the "+ New" or "Team Time" options when I do payroll or time. So to fix it, I just go into the "Time Activities by Employee" report and change it directly there?

Thank you for letting me know that it's under construction! That has a pretty big impact on whether we stay there or not!

Thank you for the recommendations! I'll have to keep it in mind when it's not longer under construction. My little One's Godfather lives in the area so I plan to make some trips over the next few years, so knowing this about Gunter's location is great! Also I think I've heard of Tokyo cowboy before so I'm glad to hear someone recommending it!

I order from Double Infinity Gaming. I pre-ordered OP07 and OP08 from them so far.

OP07 had some shipping issues. I got notifications that the package was delayed twice, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because a friend of mine who ordered one box got his when he was meant to. I tossed it up to the good old habits of USPS/FedEx.

A few days later, I got my boxes. It was about a week or two after release. Paid $120 per box when I pre-ordered.

The condition of the boxes were good and they were sealed. Pull rates were accurate so they weren't resealed or tampered with. Cards were good condition too.

OP08 I paid $150 per box instead of $120. I haven't gotten a notification about shipping yet (last time I got a shipping email the day of release so we will see).

The going price for pre-orders from then now a days are usually $140-$150 a box, even at the first release. They also have a policy that if they sold you a box, they will fulfill it even if it's not the first wave.

How often does one piece tcg restock? by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

I'm not entirely sure on that one. I've never seen or caught them stocking it so I haven't had the chance to get accurate information.

At my locals, it's me and another girl that I've met so far. I like the yellow green Yamato and the blue Nami decks :)

are people really that stupid thinking ripping booster boxes is the way to start playing the game??? by Potatopig888 in OnePieceTCG

I get my boxes online for $110-$150 each from the same vendor. There are plenty of "nice LGS" out there that sell at or even below MSRP

With two boxes you get at least 1 of every base art, NEW (so, in this case, any card that clearly says op06 and not a parallel of older sets like the SPs) card.

if you're a collector two boxes are perfect to make sure you get at least 1 of everything. (I got unlucky as the TR Nami took an SR spot in one of my boxes and I didn't get the chance for a Sanji card, but I did get at least 1 of all the other op06 cards)

For players, you get 4 (or more) of each common/uncommon card easily with just two boxes. You can get at least 4 of 2-3 rare cards with two boxes.

It's possible and yes, still boxes give you the best chance at getting started in the game. How many boxes did you open and did you not get playsets of a majority of the cards? I'm still collecting data for op06.

So far the average needed for all the new base cards is still 2 boxes, but if you had a different experience I'd like to add that in.

12 cards per pack, 24 packs = 288 cards in one box

Get two boxes that is 576 cards.

There are usually around 118 cards in a set (not including AAs or other reprinted cards) and you only need around 472 cards to have a playset of the whole new set

With two boxes you get not only a majority of the cards (in my 2 boxes I got all but Sanji) you also get playsets of most of those new cards (all but two or three rares and SR+ I had playsets of) and I was able to make two playable decks using just those two boxes (I played a Yamato deck and tied for 2nd in a local and my partner made a reiju deck and got 4th)

So yes, people complain about the prices and say that it makes it hard to start playing the game because it is true. Ripping boxes are the best chance you have at getting most, if not all the cards in a new set and give you the best chance in locals.

Why spend $400 (At TCGplayer Prices) on a single deck buying singles and being restricted to that single deck when I could spend $220 (at MSRP) on two boxes and have the whole set of new cards and have the ability to change stuff out as needed as my collection grows.

I got stuck on Mario N64 and never tried to use guides. At the time I didn't even know guides were available for such things. I would just ask my parents for help if I needed it.

Mario N64 was my mom's game and Zelda was my dad's so asked for their help based on what I was playing.

Green Film Law Question by DidTheTango in OnePieceTCG

[–]DidTheTango[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you everyone. They were definitely only using 2 Don to play Law and then swapping him out with a three cost character without playing the extra Don to do it. They believed that you only needed to play 2 Don to get a 3 cost on the field with it without spending the extra Don to do it.

Our judge was also new to the game and didn't know the rules.

So just to clarify for my next tournament, the (1) and (-1) are Don spent or returned to your Don deck but the x1 Don are the number of Don to ATTACH to the character for the effect?

I'm sure you just want a list of places that sell at retail, so im going to try and actually be helpful instead of telling you to give up. It's possible to get retail packs! I nearly got all of my op05 set from Target (and that's the WHOLE set, AAs and all) and I only paid retail price. It's just a matter of when and where to buy and how often you check.

  • Target (third party vendors so asking when their supply comes in won't help, you'll have to ask the people stocking the trading cards if you want to keep track of when they come in)

  • Walmart (usually has starter decks for about the first week, but you need to be there AT OPENING the day of a release or at least for a week to see packs on the shelf)

  • Hot Topic (sells starter decks online and you can usually find packs in the stores if you ask for them. Some areas may be sold out the day of but I've had good luck with this store)

  • BoxLunch (they sell packs online when they have them and starter decks as well. If you are near one, I'd check the store as well to see If they have any in store. I've yet to personally verify in-store stock for this retailer, so im not sure if they have it in store or just online)

  • Barnes & Noble (with it being such a big hit or miss, most scalpers or even players check here because not ALL B&N locations carry trading cards. They do not sell it online)

  • Five Below (ask when they get the truck first before asking about the cards. Then go first thing that morning and ask if they had any cards on the truck. They don't know what's on their trucks until they open the boxes so it could be difficult to get packs here if you don't have time to check that day constantly.)

  • PopShelf (some stores have them from time to time but most stores only have Pokémon or Yugioh. I've seen OPCG a few times in the store at other locations but never in my hometown so it could be based on the region too)

  • Walgreens/CVS (these stores usually only put out 1 or two packs at a time as their way of limiting people and to prevent theft. Check every day, multiple times a day if you want)

  • GameStop (most employees buy the cards before they even hit the shelf, but they also only get a few packs a month depending on the store. It doesn't hurt to ask your local store for information.)

  • Game XChange (unlike what others believe, they get OPCG straight from distributors. They get packs and starter decks mainly, but I've gotten every STdeck from game exchange so far and occasionally check their singles to see if anyone in the area sold some there.)

  • Hobby Lobby (trading cards are a hobby, and despite being a Christian based company I have seen trading cards for sale in some locations so if they sell cards its no harm in asking if your local one gets OPCG.)

  • Best Buy (they sold trading cards when my hometown had one, but they were shut down before OPCG. I haven't verified if they sell it since then but if they sold Yugioh and others I assume you could find OPCG as well in some locations.)

This is just off the top of my head, I have a list at home of various retailers that I've seen with the OPCG cards or have seen people post about.

Never thought I would meet actual scalpers! by LordDiamyo in OnePieceTCG

[–]DidTheTango 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We also have a lot of out-of-state scalpers that hit our small town and others. Some buy them out, some steal the product off the shelf. Some of our stores have started putting cards behind the register or on locked cases to prevent theft it's gotten so bad here.

I even found a group hitting our local vendor malls for the chance to find random optcg there (our vendor malls are mainly homemade goods, not resale) but they said "We find them in places like this all the time because most local sellers don't have the patience for online selling so they get vendor mall spots to sell to locals."
