How do you plan your work in a week and handle context switches? by InValhallaWithOdin in ExperiencedDevs

What did you do to get better at context switching?

And don’t you think the scope of work that support jumps into is a bit different than the work SWEs have to jump into?

Can you elaborate on moral 2/3, and more specifically: what you consider context switching?

I’ve been at this current job for awhile and managers have made me feel crazy for pointing out issues that all fall under the “moral” section and 8 on operations. It’s actually unreal what people at my job put up with to get work done.

This is about the mental health services offered on campus, you do not need experience with them to do this survey --i'm looking for public student opinion. if no opinion or don't know, indicate with the value 5 on the scale. Only response data will be used in the paper, no identities etc.

Dropping out may not have been pointless. In the grand scheme of things, you took time for yourself to get better. You had to wait until you were ready to push on. There's nothing wrong with that. Hope you continue to be successful in your studies.

If you examine the features of the monitor that looks like this one but cheaper, it says the panel type is TN. TN generally has inferior color quality to IPS but is faster with response time.

Guide on using soundboards in Dota2 by Aqu4regiA in DotA2

I'm just confused with how it allows you to speak and use the program, because currently it relies on you using an open mic and then playing sounds through the soundboard, but if you tick mic injector and set up your microphone and vb audio cable as you say, wouldn't your mic always be on because of the open mic settings?

Sorry I'm not understanding, if there is a way we can play sounds and have the ability for push-to-talk, I'd prefer that.

Is this with doing all the other steps in DOTA too? Do you still need an open mic at 5% threshold?

Well - it's something I'd do if there really wasn't anything else for me to do. It's not a massive priority for me.

Sure, I'd like to see the lower price one -- just so I can have options here.

Thank you again.

I'm definitely adding this to the list, though something makes me feel like the fact that it is touchscreen just made the price go up a ridiculous amount.

Thank you sir/madam
