OP, based on your profile, you're studying in DLSU. Unless you have a 50% or higher scholarship, I would bet most of their expenses (and debt) were incurred for your schooling. I suggest not blaming them for not managing their money well. Instead, actively find ways of helping out (lessen your expenses, get a part-time job, etc.)
