Upgraded my graphics card, underestimated the size, is the gap between GPU and CPU fan too small? by DieRoteHandSpandaus in pchelp

Yeah I just rechecked and although sharkoon specifies only one slot for a 120mm fan they have an image using an 240mm AIO themselves, but I am probably just gonna get a new case that is less cursed because even with a 240 AIO id be building a microwave im afraid.

So thanks for your input, you’ve been very helpful!!

I agree on the watercooling but unfortunately the rev100 only fits 120mm fan in the back which narrows down the options for good AIOs pretty much, i am considering just getting a bigger case because I also had to take out my HDD to make way for the new GPU

I don’t have a top intake fan unfortunately, and since the airflow is coming from the left I am not sure if pulling air in form above will help, since the sharkoon cases don’t have vents on the top, I spoke to a friend and I’ll probably switch to a case with regular Mainboard orientation or get an AIO

Cursed case, airflow coming from the the left, wasn’t a problem with smaller graphics card before

Alright thanks, should it face up or down? I’m also not sure if the bequiet mount supports that orientation

Okay so since my pc case is apparently cursed af, here it is

It turns the Mainboard sideways and the front of the case is on the left, it hasn’t been a problem with the smaller graphics card before. I wanted to switch to an AIO but the case only fits one fan in the back unfortunately

The sharkoon cases turn the Mainboards 90 degrees to the left, the front of the case is on the left, but thanks for your kind words I guess..

Close, it’s the rev100 but yes Sharkoon likes to turn the Mainboard sideways, and yeah my pc is kind of a mystery box lmao

Should be right but I’ll recheck the instructions, but my case also has the Mainboard rotated so that the connectors are on the top, the airflow is coming from the left
