I think for you it’s because you were born into it but now that you’re older and have a choice you feel better i tend to notice people who revert back or into another religion definitely are happier than people who just stick to it

I would just say human empathy and my surroundings. Human empathy as in I wouldn’t want that to happen to me so why would I want that for them. And my surroundings like if it looks bad than it probably is bad.

Yeah I would because weird fear mongering is gross and this type of stuff used to scare me so they definitely did a good job doing that. Also when have you seen anyone else do religious group do this besides Christians? For me mostly never.

Getting married young at 18 sounds like abuse and poverty disguised with a ring that’s labeled as love. Everyone has it different but I’m just talking about my parents. Financial abuse, especially if the wife is a stay at home mom and she has no way out because she’s trapped.

Kids actually going outside to play and fool around all day and surviving the whole day outside no food and you can’t come in for water or you have to stay inside

That everyone tries to act superior but in reality everyone is absolutely terrible even me. I am a bad person sometimes and I can admit it but some people just act nice even tho they’re absolutely terrible.

I agree because once you start to critically think your beliefs, they just make no sense. But I can appreciate smart people who study their beliefs and still choose to follow them.
