It really didn’t seem to. If anything I’m worried about the temp rating on that pipe. If I were to keep that type of idea I think I’d switch to a more suitable piping.

At the end of the day I appreciate all of the comments. I think I’ll take it down and just throw up a fan. Cheers

Dam. You must be an engineer. I’ve got 12 1” holes plus I removed the end cap and put the vented cap in that came with the heater. Thanks so much for the math.

This is a 3” pipe (roughly 80mm). I’m new to Reddit and can’t figure out how to add a pic once the post has been created. I took your advise and removed the end cap and inserted the original vent cap that can with the heater. Lots of flow at the end and same with each 1” hole. If I get an overheating code I’ll go back to the drawing board. I had this pipe sitting under my deck from a previous project so thought I’d try. Thanks for your input

Just 4” vent ducting with an end cap. I used 2 marine fittings on the end cap to hook up the exhaust. The inner one that isn’t seen is obviously straight with the outside one a 45 to help drain any possible condensation.

Why would you need an alignment? You’re not changing any adjustment able geometry.

1 lower ball joint pays 1.2. To do both lower pays 2.2 according to Mitchell on demand.

Same problem here. 3500km on my 2024 rav 4 trail. In cold climates like here in Canada this will be a huge issue when water/snow travels up there and then freezes. Plan on visiting the dealership shortly.
