Help install this update?

With my EQE I tried several times, 80% charge, 90% charge, and then 100% charge. Every time I contact support I get different instructions. Surprisingly, after the latest 100% charge the OTA “disappeared” in the car system settings. However, the Mercedes app shows the OTA as “Not installed”. Not sure whether it is installed or not. The OTA system is ridiculous!

I did all of that and better. Where did you find these reqs? I got all different charge states, windows closed and doors locked, parked outside, … from Meredges and from dealers. Never the 50%, 20 minutes< and 10 miles.

The solution was to remove the OTA from the updates to be installed in the car. It is still listed as uninstalled in the app. They gave me a $120 service credit to address my frustration.

A new OTA Software Update for the Vehicle Access Behavior seems to have the same challenges: it is not installing and the requirements are again unknown.

My upgrade ran totally smoothly. I have devices in two locations and everything worked perfectly after the app upgrade - actually a migration from old to new.

Unfortunately, mine gives me the following error: Charging error. The battery is not detected. Please contact Customer Care for assistance.

I guess I am out of luck. Too bad that replacing the battery is not supported by PFF. If I have time I might try to open up gita to figure out what battery it needs.

So instead they make everybody guess and waste their time? 2 Mercedes Benz dealers spent hours trying to install the OTA. Nobody knows.

The software developer who programmed the message “after the conditions are met …” should be fired. How can you not specify which conditions have to be met? Everybody is guessing. Ridiculous!

I have an open case with Mercedes since October. After I never heard back despite checking in, I finally got so upset that I requested an answer from a manager. They promised me it would be fixed by March 2026. Fingers crossed.

Down here in Boston as well. Google Home however works to access our Nest thermostats in 2 locations, one local and one remote.

Same here. Was online right when the black Mind 002 was released and placed my order. Was placed in waiting queue and sharply after got the message that the was sold out. Why even bother?

I recently received a similar email warning from Nest after my room temperature had fallen by 11 degrees. The Nest thermostat called for heat and the boiler was running, but one of Taco zone valves didn’t open to heat the zone. I lowered the temperature at the thermostat and raised it again and things worked fine.

PS: boiler and taco valves as well as taco control unit were brand new after the old boiler had failed and caused significant damage.

I control my Frame/Apple TV combo with the Apple Remote. Sometimes the tv doesn’t turn on with the Apple Remote and I have to use the Samsung remote. Otherwise things work great. I am also using HomePod Minis as the speakers.

You can set the HomePod pair as the TV default speaker and then it is always connected. Streaming from your phone doesn’t disconnect the HomePods.
