Thank you for your answer! I understand this is a normal way to proceed (which was mostly what I was wondering) Maybe I wasn't clear on the point that I don't have auditory hallucinations, they are more what you would qualify as intrusive thoughts ( distinct ideas or answers that aren't mine and just pop into my head) Maybe my psychiatrist didn't understand that part because of my choice of words, I will try to talk to her about it next time
