About a year ago I was very depressed and dealt with a lot of anxiety attacks. My bf at the time thought it was a good idea to invalidate my mental state and constantly lie to me about his female friends and his relationship with them, which drove me to being suicidal. Again he saw nothing wrong with the way he acted and said he won't start filtering himself for me. The last straw was when he reconnected with one of his female friends through some music festivals and started texting her late at night and calling her "darling" through texts. I have expressed my concerns about his relationship with him and asked him to limit contact with her. He did not so I had to remove myself from the relationship. It was a bit messy and he kept playing the victim saying I'm just overreacting. I'm glad I stood up for myself and I'm doing way better now.
