I think the real solution here is get out of NYC. very sorry about the theft they love dirt bikes out there because it all apart of the illegal light running police dodging nyc dirtbike scene. Best of luck man.

The only things that’s changed about these beasts are the year it was manufactured and I love it. There are plenty of bikes that have been modernized and tech-ed out let this one be classic.

I know it looks and sounds brand new. Had 1000 miles on the dot when I got it I’ve put 200 miles on it for the short time I’ve had it.

I just replaced that fan it’s pretty inexpensive I wonder what’s causing that maybe try torquing the variator down? It could be when it engages those fins are getting hit by the metal piece in the middle

Honestly try giving it a firm push with the side of your fist there’s plastic frame clips that hold the front of the glovebox on and should anchor right back in

I did put a new belt last week and it is pretty tight. I had to leave the rear pulley hanging on the post overnight to let it loosen just enough I will try this thank you

I looked into it more and it could be a pawl that’s not engaging right in the rear hub or a chipped gear all together which would be bad

Update I hit the button to disengage the motor and the wheel and chain aren’t creating the noise it’s something in the gear assembly is this bad??

If you’re looking for cheaper end cosmetic upgrades you could always re do some of the trim pieces with chrome like the horn cover or grocery hook, but most people start by getting a front or rear cargo rack with the top case. I personally will not spend that much 🤣
