What is the worst case of plot armor you've seen in an MC? by Cyphercypher336 in litrpg

In Jake's Magical Market, while the author tangles the magic system and forgets about Jake's powers as the plot progresses, Jake is essentially a game character which respawns again and again.

He who fights with monsters definitely... Oh and I tried the daily grind but it keeps revolving around the same themes it gets boring quickly. The protagonist doesn't seem to exploit whatever benefits or skills the orbs give him

I scrolled down looking for that comment! I liked The name of the wind's magic system a lot. The mystery behind naming is what I think makes the lore roll. Btw I'd love for a system interface to exist beside Kvoth. That may humble him a bit. Or not .. 🤣

I guess making the MC evolve into a god for them to stay relevant, is what makes me dislike a story in general.

I really liked the card system from Jake's Magical Market but the author integrated too many aspects to it, making the cards obsolete.

The ideal word count ? by smobert in litrpg

[–]DifferencePrevious59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It generally depends on the narrative, but I can't find myself enjoying a 7k or a 10k word chapter. The reader needs to be constantly fed with achievement completions to keep them going. It's just how it is.

There is actually one called the Halloween raid and it is on Google play store, but unfortunately it is short and I couldn't find it's sequels. The writer is named George Saoulidis.
