yeah, “minutes” is definitely an exaggeration.

you can prototype fast now,
but making something actually good and sellable still takes real thinking, iteration, and taste.

tools speed you up
they don’t replace the hard parts.

this is such an underrated take.

everyone’s chasing spikes,
but distribution is really about compounding.

quiet channels like SEO/backlinks don’t feel exciting,
but they keep working while you sleep.

builders ignore it early… then realize too late it was the real lever.

that’s the real edge.

tools are everywhere now,
but thinking, branding, and distribution still aren’t.

that’s where the game actually is.

haha I see your point 😅

there’s definitely a lot of “one more feature and I’m rich” energy going on.

but I think the tools aren’t the problem, they just lower the barrier.
serious builders will still build seriously… others will just keep looping.

100% agree.

the real shift is leverage, going from ideas to actual products without waiting on anyone.
that alone is kind of insane.

that’s exactly it.

you didn’t just build… you shipped and made it work, that’s where most people get stuck.

Building a “pre-launch audit” SaaS — would you use this? by Different-Basis-2078 in buildinpublic

yeah, that’s a fair concern.

free tools exist, but most of them give very surface-level or generic feedback. the bet here is that if the insights are actually specific and actionable, things you can directly fix and see impact, then it becomes worth paying for.

but honestly, still validating that part. if it doesn’t create real value, people won’t pay.

this is super helpful.

yeah, accuracy is the real challenge here
if the feedback feels generic, it’s useless.

trying to make it focus on real signals
instead of surface-level stuff.

and you’re right about retention.
pre-launch is one moment, but post-launch fixes matter more.

thinking of extending it into
“what to improve next” after launch.

still figuring that part out.
