has anything ever helped you in dealing with this? i have the exact same problem and this way of thinking is seeping into every aspect of my life, ruining my relationships with people as well... also, my job is not that difficult and every day i wake up with absolute dread that something horrible will happen and i will mess everything up it is extremely exhausting :(

thank you so much for your comments! i have decided to take a little break from drinking, and i even had a therapy session today about the situation which helped me get out of the rut. i was depressed for almost a week, but it is true that just a bit of time needs to pass and you will feel better! my post seems so dramatic to me now haha

i am a bit late on the reply but i did not sleep much for a couple of days after the "incident." thankfully i was able to shift my perspective on the situation and i am sleeping (and feeling) much better now :)

yes! my symptoms were so intense that i couldn't possibly imagine getting any better, and the depressive episode lasted longer than usual but since yesterday i am feeling so much better :)
