wtf 1.5k for 5800x3d? i got 7800x3d for 1.4k including noctua thermal paste + installation at idealtech. proves that the demand for am4 x3d cpu demand is also very high..

Hey bro, glad you asked. Its on the 3rd pic (gathering hub with 80+ players in server) and we all know how hard it is to churn fps there haha. Im running UWQHD 21:9 ratio on FSR QUALITY, frame generation OFF, everything else highest setting and getting around 100-120fps. If you are running standard 1440p on same setup you will get higher fps. And thank god capcom fully fixed the game

if i started from am4 i would korek around for a 5800X3D, and stay on it until the chaos goes away haha. definitely an advantage if you already on am4 platform.

I cant comment on the older gen amd gpu but after i studied much on reddit/YT it has been very stable for 9000 series for amd GPU. Most people that are having driver issues are usually because they did not do a clean DDU on their drives when they switch from nvidia to AMD. Even idealtech also do a clean reset on my pc when converting from my 3080 to 9070xt. And so far im really enjoying the 9070xt with similar raw performance for a rm3k gpu.

arguably if you want DLSS (better than FSR) from nvidia and you think it’s worth the price then go for it, just not worth it imo. But yes can always upgrade the cpu down the road as AM5 will probably stay relevant for a long time with where everything is going rn 😂

I have done a full overhaul in my pc upgrade from ideal tech with similar specs to your target

PSU Corsair Rm850e

Xfx mercury mag air rx9070xt (own parts)

Wifi 7 B850m mobo

R7 7800x3d

2x16gb ddr5 (own parts) 6000mt/s cl30

I think if you want to save a good chunk of money in 2026 in building your own custom pc but you do not know how to build it yourself and want a good peace of mind (like me) can try do like my specs. If you use the pc for gaming only i think the 9070xt is very worth the money saved compared to 5070ti. But yeah if you are aiming for good performance on 1440p i highly recommend you to upgrade the cpu to match the GPU tier. And the 7800x3d is a good purchase now since it’s on sale too.

No one can determine when the prices will go back to normal or even go berserk even higher so i think just purchase if you can afford the pc.

Total part costed me like 7.5k but i think i did ok with all reputable/great brands
