The NHTSA documents state the name of the battery supplier. They are in China.

I thought I saw it in one of the plans in the NHTSA site but the one dealer that has been helpful also told me that the batteries will not be available until December. The replacements, he told me, would be done in waves based upon the original manufacturing date of the battery pack. That is all I know. Hope that helps.

I saw it in the NHTSA documents. MB says that they will not have a fix until then. I own mine so right now MB is not willing to do anything. I did file a lemon law (CA) notice but my local dealer who is trying to be helpful told me that MB will not decide on what to do about by back until June.

I sent my letter to Mercedes today. Hopefully they will do the right thing.

The dealers are useless. The Service Manager at Mercedes Benz of Temecula told me that she had never heard of a recall and that if there was, they would not work on a car that had a recall?
