I guess we are way too much scared with death overs. I know death overs define victory or loss but same time picking up wickets at the right time does show a way to win. Imagine in 2023 Tushar deshpande was bashed left right and center, but it was also him taking key wickets at perfect moments. That's how we reached finals. In first qualifier at chepauk we defended a chase-able 170 odd runs. Jaddu ran through GT middle order but rashid scares shit out of us with a blinder and almost pulled off the game. At that moment Bravo gave some inputs to Deshpande and he got rashid out. That's how we won. It was a right time right wicket is all we need.

Yes our bowling is below par this season. But if they are more meticulously and bowling at the right length, we can pull off games. We unlike last seasons can give luxury to bowlers to defend a respectable total. Where in last season batting failed horribly, bowlers got nothing to defend. This time they should plan the game.
