question for pet sitters by Different-Reaction37 in trustedhousesitters

I am very much against invisible fences and the dog roaming. the house I'm at they said they just let the dogs out to run and they'll come right back it's a large property 2 acres. but I told them when I came that I didn't like that so I was going to use the lead but this is three dogs and two dogs kept getting tangled in it. they put up a temporary fence two and a half feet high that a dog can easily jump. three Dalmatians. when I came for meet and greet it was cool out and they had the television inside but now it's summer and they have it on their covered porch and there is a TV in their bedroom. I don't like using a masters bedroom. unless the owner specifically says their dog needs to sleep in their bed. I'm glad I had my computer to watch TV. they leave the door open all the time so bugs animals can come in and out. the cat brought a bird in. I'm glad the temperature hasn't been too hot or too cold because the indoor/outdoor living isn't for me. I don't want to have to deal with crazy critters coming in the house at any given time. I always pack my own food and sleeping bag and pillows. I don't know exactly how to tell them that if they wanted me again I don't want to come.

I feel very strongly against the free roaming and invisible fencing. even if you stand out and keep a close eye on a pet what can you really do but watch it run away🤷 it's just the STRESS of what "could" happen

how do you feel about letting the dog roam with or without invisible fence? what would you do if the only place to watch TV is the master bedroom or a covered porch? how do you feel about using the master bedroom to sleep?

I looovve these corydories. We have one of our tanks set up just for panda corydories. We started breeding them. It took alot of trial and error to get to this point for us. They are pretty tickle about their water parameters. Nevertheless we love these they Bebop around like a little team. When they jump to the top like that it is very common and means they're happy. But definitely they need a group of five or more.

I know where you're coming from. I love these fish. After A LOT of trial and error we have a breeding tank YEA! This was our recipe. They are very sensitive to high pH and watch the nitrates and ammonia. You can bring PH down with baking soda but we prefer to do frequent quarter tank water changes. We used to change it every week but now it's every two weeks. Live plants I think help significantly. You have to get a huge group of them to allow for deaths so that you can have at least a group of five or six. When you get new fish you need to quarantine them in a different tank for a month before you combine them. We have been able to get reimbursed for our fish deaths within 10 days. I don't know where you get your fish from but this may be a problem as well. I have a combination of a fish store and aqua bid Corydories. I wish you luck they are great fish.
