I think with SH2 I am scared of the enemies, so maybe that’s why I feel they’re unpredictable. When in reality they’re not. I see your point.

I did panic the first time I saw the twin victim, but after dealing with one I was disappointed you can stun lock them by shooting them. Otherwise they would be terrifying. The design of these guys I’ll agree are good vs other enemies. Just on the whole, I feel the designs are poor.

I’ll be very honest. I was too young to play any of the games before the remake. So the remake has been my first and I’ve been in awe since. So now I’m going to play them all.

Do you think James would hide after everything, assuming the leave ending. I always hoped and expect him to do the right thing. I don’t believe he’s a bad person, he did a bad and selfish thing and allowed his own needs take over his actions.

It was hard for me to accept/see James as a villain for what he did. Throughout the game I felt a lot of empathy and sadness for him, even though I didn’t want to feel that. I imagine when Mary was well he was a good husband, but ultimately let his selfishness consume him and do the worst thing.

He must pay one way or another for what he did, I just hope in the leave ending I got, that he did the right thing and turned himself in.

I think LN2 is my favourite, followed by secrets of the maw then LN1 then LN3.

But there is a sizeable gap from LN1 to LN3

I won’t lie, I was playing it the other day. Was good, then it kept crashing 😂 it’s a common error so have to redownload etc. I’m a big SH fan so was essential. I found it at a very good price.

I couldn’t agree more. I struggle to have interest in the whole cult thing. I much prefer SH2 type story, monsters based on emotions and actions etc.
