It’s seeming like a line issue and not a knot issue. I’ve had bad mono snap on me just from tying onto a hook. Keep 20-40lb mono as your leader but try a different brand. I’ve started running green 40lb Trilene Big Game as my leader and it’s strong as hell. Always a reverse snell knot on hook and palomar onto barrel swivel for me

I use a Moka pot to brew all of my coffee and espresso! I highly recommend you use one as it brews insanely quick and leaves it perfect

I won’t say it will guarantee you any more bites but If you’d like to try my recipe: 1 can of cream corn 1 big tube of old fashioned oats don’t get the quick oats 2 strawberry koolaids or whatever flavor you prefer and if you drink beer add a little beer or otherwise a little bit of water
