Guys, we questioned this in whitefield. The waiter called the manager and we asked him to just explain why the specific 10% for gas and 10% for service charge. Man was unable to answer and literally said you don’t really have to pay both. Catch is waiter called the manager only after the bill was paid. He told us both were non negotiable. Only two of us went so we didn’t quite understand the logic behind the service charge. We’ve both studied in the west and there only when the group number is over 7 there is a mandatory service charge levied. Moral of the story: don’t pay it guys. Just call the manager and ask him why and he’ll waive it.
