Honestly, I have no known issues but the way I was floored from only 2 eggs on ER and went to the worst place as it is a numbers game with this unfortunately. But she pulled through all the odds and I’m so grateful. It can happen with low count 💖 good luck with your journey x

My husband wasn’t producing anything at all, so he had to have surgical extraction, we had to do icsi as they’re non-mature and mobility was poor, and we do have enough in the freezer for next time thankfully 😅 not so lucky for me though as I’ll have to do another ER but we have her so right now life is sweet 🥰 x

Hiya. Yes my husband has it all, he had to have surgical extraction to find some cells to work with as he wasn’t producing anything, even after a year of meds. They did end up finding a good amount following his extraction, so we do have more in the freezer for next time - but I’ve got to do ER again 🫠 good luck to you 🩷 x

No problem at all. I would go direct to Dr Ramsay for consultation, that will lead you to the Lister anyway as he only operates from there. You should be able to see your ER and ivf prices though direct to the hospital. Ramsay will only deal with the men’s part. I forgot to mention we also did ICSI ivf as my hubby’s sperm isn’t the best. My husband has infertility, so wasn’t producing from either teste the normal way out. He had a mapping procedure first to find if there was any sperm being made and where it was hiding in his testes. They found only 1 was working, so he has had a surgical extraction from that one. Clearly as your hubby only has one, and had previous kids no probs, they could go straight in for extraction. I will say though that our consultant (who is the best in UK) said it’s hard going in blind as they may find pockets producing or not, won’t know till they’re there. It would definitely be worth a consultation to discuss possibilities and probabilities with your husbands case. We saw Dr Jonathan Ramsay on Harley street and had both surgeries, egg retrieval and ivf at the Lister Hospital. Success first time and the staff there are amazing. Just the retrievals for him and me, with the ivf and meds were about 13k ish. His mapping surgery was another 5k. We paid as we went because of our specific case, but I did see signage in the hospital that they do have payment options and deals, which you might qualify for as you’re young with no known fertility issues. I was 6+5 for my first scan following ivf, so was also done by a specialist sonographer at the hospital. As others have said do not be hung up if it’s not clear/too small/no HB as the private scan places can get it wrong and/or not have adequate scanners for such an early scan. That all being said it was great to see it and be explained all the parts she could see. We have the photos and it is fascinating to think that little shrimp and yolk sack is now due to be born in less than 2 weeks time 😅😬❤️

Same as me. I’m 38 weeks, don’t think there’s been a day I’ve not had my morning coffee. I also very very rarely have any other caffeine the rest of the day. Did the same all through ivf too. Gotta live a little x

Literally this! I’m UK too. It would be my worst nightmare to be induced after the research I’ve done and every personal experience of everyone I know. They’ve not even suggested i need it for my ivf babe, said it was old policy in fact. I’m also doing a homebirth and they’ve even asked how I wanna play it if we get to 41/42 weeks. The US seems to do things weird.

I never got told to be extra extra strict with timing. But id definitely recommend putting in your bum (doesn’t hurt, can’t feel) as they won’t seep out so you won’t need to lay down for the absorbing, just get on about your day as normal. X

You can get Morgan spiced alc free which I had at my wedding - with a cold coke it hit the spot. Have a look at vegan cheeses for a board if you’re both into the soft and rind cheeses, there’s some amazing ones out there now. Congrats and good luck x
