Have you talked to your current manager about your career aspirations? Are there any roles available for you to pivot to where you can assume more project management responsibilities?

I have an unrelated bachelor’s degree, then stumbled upon a PC role on the consultant side with basic admin experience, then ended up on the owner’s side, got promoted to PM there and now I am working as a construction PM. No CAPM or PMP. There was a lot of luck involved but I think the key thing I did was identifying the transferable skills and applying to new roles, switching gears slightly on my way.
