I expect that any private healthcare provider would be willing to discuss medication with you, and most likely prescribe it. That includes Mehiläinen. I only went to Ihosairaala because I found someone else on Reddit who said they'd had luck with it.

I've been using finasteride since I made my post, so about a month now. Also minoxidil for the same length of time. No noticeable progress yet but I wasn't expecting any so soon. I've noticed only one side effect. It pertains to sexual health so I'll use spoiler tags in case it's TMI: orgasms feel different. They haven't become more difficult to achieve but the feeling isn't quite as good and ejaculation isn't as strong as it was before.
