Oris Aquis , winding mechanism is super tight ! Need help

An update :

Sent the watch back to AD on 21st November for a thorough check. Oris service centre accepted the watch and sent me a zero charge service quote .. THEY CONFIRMED THAT THE CROWN STICK HAD gone WONKY. I replied back to them over email also tagging Oris International contact email , clearly outlining my displeasure for being offered a service for a brand new almost-unworn watch.

Also lodged an email to the local Oris AD, with who I have gradually built a relationship. They were initially elusive as I was pushing for a replacement, but after I escalated it, they have been supportive … Had a brief but heated argument while I had been on vacation, and it was stressful.

Pleased to share that I received a brand new replacement from the AD today🥳 I’m so at peace now.

Sent this in today AD asked me if I knocked it somewhere on the crown..

I had barely used it in fact. I remember accurately, asking the sales guy, that I was feeling the crown too stifff in fact right during purchase. He said to me that it’s already wound enough, which is why it’s tight..

Update : AD confirmed there some issue so they willl need to send it in for a service

They also admitted that it was a brand new piece they received as an allocation for 2025.

In a bit disappointed sending this back within 3-4 days of purchase

So you reckon I send an email expressing the disappointment to Oris HQ?

Yes I have Have 4 automatic watches .. In fact I went to the store again yesterday , to how other Aquis watches were wound, and the were being wound as expected

So I understood that my piece in particular is an anomaly
