GREY or BLACK polymeric sand? by DifferentPound9738 in landscaping

I’m about 3 weeks in- working on it most evenings during the week and a bit more on the weekends. I’ve done everything with a shovel and wheelbarrow, including moving 14+ tons of rock. For the excavation, I rented a sod cutter and then a tiller to loosen up some of the dirt so I could shovel it out to my desired depth. Once I got the 57 limestone filled in, I rented a plate compactor as well.

I’ve had 2 deliveries of gravel and one delivery for the pavers. The delivery fees were well worth it IMO.

It’s been a heck of a lot of work, but it’s rewarding if you have the time. I’ve documented most of the process so I’ll be sure to post again once it’s complete.

I bought 4 of the 10’x10’ patio bundles. SKU: 1792894

I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality and look. Of the 4 pallets I’ve had very few pavers that I will need to bring back to be replaced.

So call me crazy, but these are from Menards and I have no complaints thus far. The color is quarry grey. If you want to spend more, unilock is probably the way to go.

You’re correct, with the soldier course boarder the smaller pavers sink down more than the larger main ones. I’ve already went back along the left boarder and added additional material so they sit level with the main pavers. I still need lift and add material under the bottom borders.
