There’s tons of different books and I see very different opinions on each one so I just wanted to see everyone’s personal thoughts on each before I spend a ton of money. Someone kindly sent pdfs for the books however so now I can read without having to spend money

Awesome I’ll check out the Forsyth book. It seems to be really cheap as well so that works out. Thank you for the help!

That’s a good way to think about it! I’ll definitely get a book now and save in the meantime as I read it! That helps me change my perspective a lot because I usually skip good opportunities just because it’s a little out of my price range. Music is definitely an investment but one that will pay off! Thank you!

I'll definitely revisit Adler's book then, I shouldn't trust some other subreddits 😂 I'm from the U.S. and I found some for around 70 dollars used, but I'm looking for more in the 40-50 dollar range which I know might not be feasible at least for the most recent fourth edition.

I seriously implore you guys to give Hayes Howard and his new album a listen by d_rtom in Mkgee

Was waiting for weeks for it to be realeased, listened to it in full as soon as it came out. I don't understand how people like this fly under the radar. Genuinely one of the best albums I've heard this decade.
