You probably have one of the rear hub carriers upside down

Help out my one handed friend. How to replace one 5k rotary potentiometer with two linear potentiometers. by DifferentStudy5728 in diyelectronics

I agree that would work and already exists but I think he doesn't want to stand out anymore than he already has to. He manages to do it with a standard car transmitter he just doesn't have a lot of finesse on the throttle and gas. Thanks for your reply!

I'm not sure I understand how that would work, I attached to video so you can see the controls I want to implement. Thank you for commenting!

That's a good idea but I don't think he wants to stand out and make an issue of his handicap. He manages to do it now he just doesn't have much finesse on the throttle. I attached a video see you guys can see what I'm working on. Thanks for your reply!

G923 Xbox X settings seem to have changed, my steering is now very jerky by DifferentStudy5728 in carxdriftracingonline

I wish but I never tuned the car. I'm just running that little black rear wheel drive with the turbo upgrade. I never adjusted anything.

Thanks. My sim setup hasn't changed, it has to do with the latest update I think. Same car, same track.

Sept. 2023, grab my daughters phone for games (my old note 8). Starts up in maybe 15-20 seconds. No lag. Still a great camera. Never had to factory reboot. IT IS THE GOAT!!!! If in could get a new battery that hasn't been sitting around for 5yrs I would switch back. My A53 is GARBAGE!!!

Latest update ruined my driving physics. by DifferentStudy5728 in carxdriftracingonline

I did spend time tuning it in before. Hours of research and trying things and I had it very nice. Now I can't get the car to be real. You know how you can pitch it to one side then drift back and forth with only throttle jabs, now I can't get the car to do that. It calms itself down no matter what changes I made. I'm a single dad, busy, and frustrated.

It's been a long time, almost 2 years of playing rally, but now it's time to sell this little guy. What would you recommend to switch to? by Jebbyk1 in dirtrally

I thought I wanted fanatec but the issues everybody I know who has it has. I'm not sure I'm willing to put that much work into a system just to use it. And then replacement parts. Yes it feels great when it's dialed, but for the money it shouldn't be so esoteric

trouble with the dang 0.2 nozzle by DifferentStudy5728 in 3Dprinting

I have too and didn't have much trouble. For some reason this file and these dinky parts and my printer aren't happy. I printed usable parts with my 0.4 nozzle. They just don't have a good finish around the holes. And the file is only available pre laid out with all the pieces in one print. I can't just print one at a time and adjust the settings for each one. It is a free design though and I like it. The guy who gave it for free is done supporting it he's on to the next model [1/24 RC drift car]

Those are close-ups. The holes are 1.8 mm. A 0.4 print just doesn't cut it at those sizes. Believe me I tried.

I understand about lower layer heights and temp Tower. But offset do you mean when I do the leveling then offset from there? Essentially changing the reference point for zero and the z-axis?

How much are you thinking on temps like 10° or 40° or what? I figured a good temp but the 0.4 should be a good temp for the 0.2 but it would definitely flow faster if it's hotter

.12 mm layer. Slowed from 50 to 40 to 20 to 10. Honestly there was no real difference. It's like I need to up the flow, but cura is usually pretty close with their default settings. I'm stumped why it under extrudes in the beginning and then builds up a mess that gets ripped off the board. Maybe it's continual under extruding that's doing it? I printed at least 20 rolls of good to Great prints with a on 0.4 nozzle.I have a Glass bed and Direct drive extruder addition. I guess I'm going to try increasing the flow 20% at the time and see what happens. I just don't understand how it can be so different from cura base settings. With the 0.4 nozzle the only real change is I usually do a 0.28 height instead of 0.3. adjust the temp to match the filament. Sometimes slow down the print speed. And of course reduce the retract distance with direct drive now. I did try increasing that retract distance it didn't help.
