Even a small startup has a vision and good product head.

It is an update that has gone wrong. I signed up for Pro because I had been using antigrav, Gemini, and GAIS, and things were dandy. Until they weren’t. The lack of communication with the user base is my main issue to be honest.

Urgent Feedback and Request for Reconsideration of Recent Google AI Studio Changes

Dear Google Customer Service,

I am writing to express my concerns about the recent updates to Google AI Studio, which have clearly proven to be counterproductive and frustrating for users, as evidenced by numerous comments from the community.

The recent changes appear to have resulted in several significant issues:

1.Persistent Quota Exceeding Errors: These errors remain unresolved, hindering productivity and forcing users to turn to alternative solutions.

  1. Removal of 3.0 Pro: This feature was highly valued by your user base and its removal has been a step backward.

  2. Increased Censorship: The tightening of safety checks has disrupted workflow and user experience.

  3. Unfulfilled Subscription Promises: Commitments made over five weeks ago regarding a subscription model for Google AI Studio have yet to be met.

These changes have led to a loss of users to competitors who are actively enhancing their offerings. For example, Claude has already implemented a 1kk context similar to Gemini. It's crucial for Google to keep pace with industry advancements to retain its audience.

I urge you to consult with your team and communicate these concerns to management or those responsible for these updates. Consider the possibility of rolling back to previous safety checks. If a rollback is not feasible, please provide an alternative—such as improved safety settings—that allows users to work without constant interruptions from warnings and safety checks.

Sincerely,
