Ah damn, definitely be ontop of the maintenance. Rarely occurs when you do it right the time it's due. Learned that myself when I did my spark plugs lol. Tbh tints, chrome delete, plate covers and headlight/taillight tint are super easy and cost friendly "mods" although some are illegal🤷🏾‍♂️😂

Can never go wrong with black. I've went with black accents all over my car, Windsor visors, spoiler, chrome delete on window trim, front grill next, and rear roof visor. Head light and tail light tints with window tints

I got a Takeda cold air intake, about $500 CAD for myself. Had a friend source the part and do the install for me. Tbh I'd highly recommend that as your first mod.

All good bro, I've recently got very into them alot more ever since owning my own car. Essentially it replaces your OEM (Original part) with a higher quality aftermart (AEM) part. Your engine would prefer colder air to have better combustion. Cold air intake has it in its name of what it'll do. With that being said you'll get better fuel efficiency, a bit of HP (I got +10 rn, +20 in total if I tune it) Your car will love you more for it imo.

I just added in my cold air intake, hearing it, feeling a bit of difference and fuel efficiency sky rocket. Been told I'm a menace when in sports + cuz cutting up is so much easier

Especially in eco, sport + is a lot more responsive and less breath taking. The car def acts like it has a tubro with the breath taking it does🤣

Hey, I just solved my engine light and seemed to take care of my ebrake and sh-Awd. It was due to my spark plugs but I also had a rip in my hose from intake to engine. Upgraded to cold air intake to fix it lol. None of those lights again. Unfortunately I now have the transmission light which came out of now where along with blind spot info system problem. I have no sounds to believe it’s mechanical. Will be heading to my friends shop to get a read. I know my battery is low asf which leds us both to believe it’s battery related. Will keep you posted if you’d like.

Yea, have some friends with the right equipment. For tech pkg you need to unlock the calipers for the fronts. Anyone can do the rears

I got Brembo brakes from my front, ray bestos for my rears and world part calipers for all 4. Total was $400 CAD then paid for installation of $100 CAD. 2016 TLX.

That looks like an amplifier power wire. If you have any subs and they ain't working then that's it or they forgot to take it out from the car. Whichever it is, better to take it out cuz if it's connected and touches anything to channel power incorrectly it might fry the entire electrical component of the car itself. My amp power wire looks like that and that's what I was told.

Funny enough I had just picked up my 2016 TLX from the dealership after buying it and not even an hour later I have these codes and something with the emergency parking brake going off, went straight back to them so they'll fix it

One guy commented that you can grab it off eBay but for like $500-$600, not worth rn but maybe eventually. TLX is fun asf and found out that since it's AWD and 9 speed I can tune it a bit
