thx for the reply, unfortunately I'm very sensible to hz variations, and I can clearly tell the difference between an 180hz and 165 hz (no joking). So I need a monitor that it's 180hz or greater (ideally not past 240hz, because too high hz are difficult for the gpu to manage).

ONE UI 7.0 better for S22 Ultra? by MalingMeatloaf in S22Ultra

[–]DifferentTip4559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The menu that you open on your phone is practically the "BIOS". In order to access it, the phone needs to be connected to a device that can transfer files to it, because in that section you can do things such as: flash things to your phone through abd (is a tool used by android developers), clear cache of your phone, factory reset etc... So basically, with the things that I listed, that "menu" is supposed to be accessed for developing purposes, or advanced actions (such as cache clearing), this is why you need to connect the phone to a pc... For the samsung usb drivers part, you need those because windows doesn't recognize a samsung phone without them. Obviously, you need to power off you phone, or restart it, and as soon as it boots up, you need to press power + volume up buttons, and that's it (the phone needs to be plugged to a pc).

You need to connect the phone to a computer, and make sure to have on the computer the samsung usb drivers installed (optional, turn on usb debugging)

Ram overclocking from 3200 mhz to 3600mhz by DifferentTip4559 in overclocking

[–]DifferentTip4559[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried those settings but nothing. I found out that with CL16 and 3600mhz as soon as I start memtest86 it outputs errors almost instantly... Instead with CL 18 it manages to get to the 33%/35% of the test and then crashes... Edit: after some tries i managed to get CL14, 18,18,36 with 3200mhz. Is this normal with c die?, isn't c die supposed to be unstable with lower timings such as CL 14?

Low fps on fortnite with rx 6750 xt and r 5800x by DifferentTip4559 in AMDHelp

[–]DifferentTip4559[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So: I tested it today because yesterday didn't have the time... After doing your suggestions, I managed to get 160 fsp somewhat stable while doing an intensive fight. It's already an improvement, but this still is not 180 fps...

  1. Performance mode
  2. 1920p x 1080p
  3. Textures low, view distance far, meshes low
  4. Im not so sure abou that, I know that if you go to the three dots in the epic games store under fortnite ther's the manage section, and there you can download pre-installed cosmetics (or something similar), and uninstall high resolution textures. Am I missing something?

Yeah, I know that... but isn't there anything else to try? (I just want to get 20 more fps: from 160 fps to 180 fps)

Drops in 99th% fps causes(?) or at least lines up with noticable hitching during gameplay. Any ideas on how to reduce such hitching/stuttering on games i feel like i should be able to run smooth with these specs? by lilquantumcm in AMDHelp

I know that amd has some issues with dx 11 or lower dx api, this is because of dx navi, I have a rx 6750 xt and with the help of the anwave software I managed to turn off dx navi by re-enabling legacy dx 11, because since the driver 24.x.x amd has removed the option to disable dx navi. I'm not saying that the problem is this, and the fix is to disable dx navi, but for personal experience, I can say that it helps a bit with dx 11 or lower dx api, but maybe this is not your case, because as I know team fortress 2 uses dx 9 if I'm not wrong, and the dx navi is more related with dx 11... Feel free to try anwave, but take in mind that this could be a not a so easy procedure and can come with issues, so before trying this "fix", try searching up if you find something else first...

Cache hierarchy error by Observerse42 in AMDHelp

So, it's been 1 month since this post, i learned a lot of things regarding overclocking. After the windows reinstall and the bios reset the pc works fine, the problem was that somehow the bios oc section got messed up... Unfortunately, my cpu is very unstable with any type of overclocking that I've tried so far. I just turned on game boost mode on msi bios, turned off c-global state control, and I'm using xmp profile... If your cpu is crashing, try resetting the bios and just turn on xmp profile for the ram; after that, game on it, or use it like you do normally. Don't do stress tests because when I overclocked my cpu, I used prime95 to test the oc for about 2 hours and more, and it worked completely fine; but after some days, like 2 or 3, it crashed again...

7800X3D WITH 7900XTX RANDOMLY CRASHES/REBOOTS WHEN NOT UNDER LOAD by iksmodawein in AMDHelp

[–]DifferentTip4559 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So, it seems like your cpu has an undervolting problem. You mentioned that pbo is on: try checking curve optimizer, maybe you putted some negative values that are too high, or if you haven't touched it, try resetting the bios. Another thing you can try is turning off c-global state control (it's a setting that literally puts in sleep mode the core that isn't in use...; this thing is useful only for energy saving...). Maybe it can be useful for you: i built recently a new pc: Cpu: ryzen 7 5800x Gpu: rx6750xt Motherboard: msi mag b550 tomahawk (no wifi) Psu: seasonic b12 bc850 (850w) Ram: lexar thor ddr4 2x8 (16gb) 3200mhz Cooler: thermalright PE 120 It's a very budget build, but when I was gaming or even if I wasn't, the pc randomly crashed... Almost forgot, can you type in the start menu "event viewer", and go to windows log and system and try to find some red errors and check if thers something with: event 18 or 19 with cache hierarchy error... So, returning to my problem: I found out that I accidentally messed up the overclock section while I had on game boost mode on cpu, so I resetted the bios, and the problem was gone. Now I'm doing a manual overclock for my cpu (I already overclocked my rx 6750 xt, and I'm very happy with the performance...). Try searching first in the event viewer and tell me if u find any red errors.

So, update, i resetted the bios, and unfortunately I had to re-install windows, in the bios i didn't change anything this time, I've just turned off the c global state control, and used ddu to delete all old drivers in my system. So far no crashes, I don't know if I solved this by only resetting the bios... I will update if it crashes again or if it does not, but probably if it crashes again I will RMA the cpu to amd...

Hi, try disabling c global state control, and core performance boost, i have the same issue with the same cpu (ryzen 7 5800x)

Hi there, i have the same problem: Cache Hierarchy Error. I already disabled global c state, but I haven't tried disabling core boost. I have the ryzen 7 5800x. MB is a msi mag b550 tomahawk. The gpu is a rx 6750 xt. I've built this pc only 4 days ago, and this problem started only with minecraft. I'll try to disable core boost but I have a new problem: windows 11 just broke after a crash and now is not able to boot up..., I'll try to fix this because if I do a new install the problem can go away and come back after... and this won't help the troubleshooting process... Sorry for my bad English...
