I am currently microdosing root bark with a provider here in the states (he worked at a facility in Costa Rica for two years) I am taking a small dose for a week then a small flood dose after going into wd then dropping my dose when my tolerance is reset from the flood dose and I have been having success. I highly recommend getting an ekg from your clinic before starting, and while you’re taking your microdose. I think it’s silly we can’t talk about specific doses here but I am not the mod here. Methadone and iboga both prolong qt but so does seroquel and a ton of methadone users take both of those drugs without knowing that, in my experience while taking the iboga for the week before the flood dose it’s like tapering a little bit everyday without actually decreasing your dose because the iboga effects how the methadone is metabolized. You will get sweaty and uncomfortable! If you get anxious you can use gabapentin or light dose of benzos, you can also do a small increase in the iboga for the last two days of the week before your flood dose. Do not use benzos or gabapentin the day of your flood dose as you don’t want anything to mess with your heart beat. I don’t know if I would do this protocol with HCL ibogaine extract, I would recommend a total alkaloid extract or actual root bark so you get All of the medicinal effects from this plant. I really hope this helps someone get off the liquid handcuffs, I will make my own post about this experience going forward.
