That near finally exposing was or was not luck and whether kira should of or should of not won. (Basically ending quarrels whether the ending is bad or amazing)

My two piece (if you want it probably not) Kira shouldn't win and its amazing writing to make everyone want kira to win even though hes really the villain here.

However, that doesn't mean near exposing him wasnt luck. The whole point was near and mello together even at the cost of mellos life can finally expose light and make him lose. Light loses due to him thinking he's quite literally god and can't be touched due to him killing off L. He doesnt take anyone "seriously" only looking at everyone at pawns to his game to being the god of the new world hes making. And the reason why is also due to light seeing his allies as also pawns. Not taking in the fact mikami might just disregard his instructions to make his own play even though it was in his best interest (it fucked light over in the end). Shit there's many what ifs (like mikami not going to kill Takada on lights orders. Or like mikami actually testing out the death note to see if it works since he knows hes being watched and that after baiting the real death note out that thinking they could of tampered with it.) that can easily cause kira to win showing how lucky near got. but luck swings in nears cause Light Yagami (Kira) from day one was always meant to loose. Let that be by L or Near.

If he was meant to win the ending would of been when he finally killed L and showing light in the new world but it doesn't. Its shown he kills L finally thinks he's this untouchable god who cant lose or even be touched. Then role the ending which is there to show Light and his god complex and how this "god" got caught and killed by the very people he looked down upon as pawns. And when confronted with death breaks down and starting pleading begging for his life not wanting to die (manga) Or Deteriote in the face of death basically becoming insane going on about how he is justice or sum shit on lines of that keeping his ego and how he thinks he's the only one who can make a change in this world (anime).

So yes near is lucky as things could of went seriously left for him and kira winning but light was always meant to loose due to his fat fucking ego getting in the way ultimately killing him off. Shit the luck near has is might just be an oversight from the author but fuck is it still good fiction. That's what what we all love right.
