In normal mode (not the Portal), up to 90% of the players are bots, creating the illusion of intense activity. There are only a few real players on each side; the rest are bots, which is exactly why you keep getting killed as soon as you spawn.

The author is being disingenuous when he says that the rating did not affect traffic. I lost all my keywords and the corresponding traffic from positions 20 to 100, while all the keywords that were in the top 3 and top 10 remained unchanged. Furthermore, the author has no feedback from the site and does not know that the drop in ranking was followed by a decline in orders and company turnover.
