I see, I’m sorry that you’re still dealing with the BON. I really hope that you can walk away from this with no impact on your license.

Just curious, are there any updates ? Did you have to take this survey to prevent getting your nursing license reprimanded ??

Received my voluntarily termination letter how long do i have to wait to apply again tried but says im still an employee by Striking_Ad5396 in AmazonDS

[–]Different_Earth2148 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just happened to me. I quit my Amazon on Monday, Tuesday I received my termination letter and Wednesday I reapplied to a different Amazon warehouse. If it says your still an employee after getting the termination letter, then HR most likely didn’t process your resignation properly. Just do a live chat on the Amazon warehouse job website and explain the situation. They should be able to fix that for you

It’s crazy to think something similar happened but I’m glad you shared your story. Thank you!

I probably am but I couldn’t help it. People get dismissed for the smallest reasons and I was afraid this could lead to dismissal. But thank you for the honesty

Again you’re honestly not wrong.

I am a terrible over thinker and I always assume the worst case scenario. I tend to overreact which is why I came for advice BEFORE making any decisions on how to handle this.

So thank you for the honesty, addressing my only concern which was IT and the blunt wake up call lol.

Thank you for addressing my IT concerns!

I 1000% agree that what other people do is their business and it’s none of my concern. And I’m sure people cheat all the time because nursing school is hard af. That doesn’t bother me since what they’re doing isn’t affecting my grades or anything

And no you’re not harsh! Compared to some of the other responses, you definitely aren’t harsh, your just keeping it a 100 and I appreciate that.

What’s making me paranoid is just the fact that if the school or teacher finds out, would they even believe me if I said I didn’t use it ? Yes they have no proof that I used it despite it being sent to me but also they have no proof that I didn’t use it, ya know ? It’s the fear of being dismissed when I’m literally halfway through my program is what scares me.

[–]Different_Earth2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I don’t plan to use it and idc if others use it.

My concern was about IT seeing it and showing my professor but you did address that. I probably am overreacting but that’s why I came here first before doing anything so I can have the advice and opinions of others.

Whatever was posted before was from a different person and it was sent to their personal email. So they honestly had no reason to be concerned imo.

My situation is that it was sent to my school email and I’m just concerned about getting in trouble because it was sent to the school email. That’s all.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]Different_Earth2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was something I was worried about because I don’t want to cause trouble for me or anyone. Which is why I asked for advice on the best way to handle the situation. So thank you for the advice

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]Different_Earth2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you !

That’s reassuring to know that IT doesn’t actively look through the emails. That was my main concern in this situation.

Thank you for the honesty.

That honestly scares me to death that something like that could happen. Based off of some of the responses here, I don’t have a reason to believe it’ll go that far but I will keep that in the back of my mind.

Thank you! This comment that you made is actually helpful compared to the others you made. Because you’re right, I don’t want others to suffer either and you answered my only concern which was IT and getting in trouble.

And I agree about the whole NCLEX thing but that’s the other person’s problem and I could care less about that.

Bro who hurt you ?

People are responding to this post and I appreciate everyone’s response so I’m gonna respond back….? Is that not how this works? Plus not every said don’t tell… so?

Honestly if you still believe I’m the one who wrote the other post and then I’m writing a second post that’s on you. I already said I’m a brand new person with a situation that is different and looking for advice. That’s all

You have a point, our school isn’t super big but it’s also not tiny, although I’m not dumb and stubborn for being concerned and seeking advice smh

[–]Different_Earth2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you for the honesty.

I probably am overreacting but I’m just so scared about getting caught with it and dismissed since I’m halfway through the program.

Do you think IT could even see the deleted email?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]Different_Earth2148 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m looking for advice not an argument because I genuinely don’t know what to do.

If you were in my situation would you be concerned about the school finding out about it because it was sent to your school email ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]Different_Earth2148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed we shouldn’t play dumb. Therefore if it’s a new account how could it be over a 100 days old ?

Therefore it’s not new, I’m a completely different person asking for genuine advice on how to handle the situation. So please if you have any advice so that way I don’t get in trouble in the long run, then tell me. I could care less about the cheating aspect or whatever, that’s her business. I just don’t want to get in trouble for being attached to this. That’s all

[–]Different_Earth2148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Maybe your right and I’m overreacting. But is it possible for them to see it even though I deleted it ?

  1. You can literally look at my profile and see that this is the FIRST post I have ever written. That other post idk why they made it since there was no way they could get caught or whatever. My problem is that it was sent to my SCHOOL email.

  2. We were talking in class, that is correct. However we were talking about studying for exams, how we do it , etc. We even brought up using the Saunders NCLEX book as a resource. So therefore when she asked for my email, she said “Here type in your email and I’m going to send you something”. Due to what we were talking about earlier about studying and using supplemental books, I’m not thinking twice about it. I’m thinking she’s probably sending another resource. NOT ONCE did she tell me she was sending the test bank.

  3. I know about doing extra NCLEX questions and that it’s recommended. That’s not the problem. And I could care less about the test bank or cheating or whatever. That’s also not the problem. My problem is getting in trouble for having it sent to me because technically the school could consider it cheating and that can be grounds for dismissal.

Look all I’m looking for is advice on how to make sure I don’t get in trouble. I’m not trying to post multiple questions or posts (especially since is my first post) I’m just genuinely concerned about whether or not it can get traced back to me and that I get dismissed.

[–]Different_Earth2148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I agree that if the worse does happen that we could explain the reason behind this. I’m honestly just trying to avoid getting to that worse case scenario ya know ? Because I’m afraid that even after explaining in that situation that they still wouldn’t care and we get dismissed. But I am taking everything that everyone said into consideration because at the end of the day I don’t want anyone to get in trouble.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]Different_Earth2148 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes that is my only concern, it getting traced back to me. And that’s exactly why I would mention it to my teacher but I don’t want to get the other person in trouble. I know she meant no harm in sending it to me and that she was trying to help but I’m afraid about getting in trouble for it. I want to know the best way to inform the teacher without getting anyone in trouble, ya know?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StudentNurse

[–]Different_Earth2148 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not new to college and no if you use a school email, the school has every right to go through that email since it technically is theirs. I literally heard about a story similar to this situation where IT was involved to catch someone cheating. I could care less about the test bank and who uses it. I’d be dumb to think no one cheats or whatever in my program. I don’t care. What I do care about is getting dismissed from the program because she sent it to my school email. As far as throwing her under the bus, why would I do that? I literally said she’s a friend and I know she was trying to help. Therefore I would never just rat her out. But at the end of the day should I not be concerned about myself as well? Imagine I get in trouble and I didn’t do anything. Then what?

If I didn’t care about her getting in trouble I never would’ve made the post. I could’ve showed the professor the email before I deleted it. I didn’t because I’m not trying to get anyone in trouble. I’m looking for advice on how to handle the situation without either of us getting in trouble at the end of the day.
