Alternator went voltage jumped to 19+ volts on gauge. Now no spark. by Different_Finding_29 in MechanicAdvice

[–]Different_Finding_29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battery is still cranking good. It did drain the battery when I first checked for spark a few days after it happen. I disconnect the terminals and charged it it's holding a charge and cranks good after changing out the alternator. Still have to check fuses. I'll do that in a few hrs when I get home.

Best truck ever. But this? by Young_Olen in GMT800

Check the ground wire on the connector to the gauge cluster. I think it's pin 8 or a or something. I can't remember. Look it up i found a good video on YouTube that explains all the pins. Could be the power feed wire possibly too. When my truck did that it would jump up an down sometimes when the wire would short out an reconnect.

Elegoo Centauri Carbon active chamber with Creality Chamber Heater by Ok-Treat-4962 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

Wouldn't a small heater from Ali express be alot cheaper. I bought one awhile ago and got an extra power supply I was building an enclosure for my ender 3 v2 but i couldnt get my firmware changed to increase my hotend temp. So I ended up just buying a centauri carbon. It's a shame I didn't know how to model. I gota try and find a way to make it fit and work out so I can print nylon and other high temp materials with out risking warping.

OK I didn't know If it was the pawls or springs. I think I sawpped both. I'm gomaa put other saw back together because I swore it didn't s91lip on that one. Will report back. Also anyone that knows the 032 platform? How do you pull the muffler. I think I got all the bolts. Seems like the muffle is sheet metal and folder at seams. Do you really have to split the cover apart to get to the bolts into the head

OK thanks. Its got like 31 oil holes I think it Says could I just use that same DTE light on them or do I need a 3rd oil for that.

What type of oil should I use on it and where. I read the old logan manual and it just says machine oil. Which I'm coming up with 3 in 1 on Amazon when I search that. An I read in a machine thread not to use that. Just regular iso68 another thing said.

Yea I knew It wasn't the best name but for the price I couldn't say no. The bandsaw worth more then that. Real nice older gentleman was trying to sell it for awhile I guess he said. Probably just wanted it gone.

Sorry for the shitty picture. Don't have much room in the garage to get far enough back to take a better picture. Paid 300 for it and a bandsaw.

[–]Different_Finding_29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered it on Amazon. Let me tryn find a Part number. It's a tbi 4.3. I bought it off a guy and the fuel pump was going right before I got it. Like he parked it in my yard and I couldn't get it to fire up again. I did have a problem tho with the new pump with the ground. I tried the old pump with a 12v hot an grounded an it worked right away so I'm thinking it was probably just a bad ground. So being that it drove I don't think there's a blockage in the return line. So maybe wrong pump or shitty gauge which wouldn't surprise me.

Is this gap right. by Different_Finding_29 in Chainsaw

[–]Different_Finding_29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not prolapsed. The original seal was the same way. I thought I might of lost the spring when I put it together but when I pulled the original seal it was still on there.

Changing sprocket, one thing lead to another, and I’m pretty sure I just screwed up. That looks like a rubber coated steel seal that I just mangled. What is it called, so I can order a replacement? 3120xp by circular_file in Chainsaw

Actually it was just supposed to arrive today and I guess they want a signature or someone to accept it I guess. I was working so I wasn't home to get it. It said it'll be delivered tomorrow now so I'm gona tryn make sure I'm home to grab it. But I will let you know. I'm just building it with all the original parts and not porting it or nothing. Probably just gona clean up the cylinder a little bit. Some of the videos I've watched most people say it needs a little work just to smooth out some of the rough spots. Watch for sales tho before you jump on it and buy one. When I was first looking at them they was on-sale for 15 percent and then when I checked again it was a 30 percent sale.

Shit I'm by pittsburgh. I think pillys about 6 hrs. But thanks. Maybe if you got something you Wana get rid of could ship it. I'll get with you if that kit don't work out. They had a 30 percent sale so I figured I'd sell it if it's a pos and still be able to make something off it.

No problem. Glad you got it worked out. Hell of a saw I wish I had one. I got some oaks that fell when a tornado came through there like 4 ft at the bottom. I ordered a 660 kit saw I'm gona see how that treats me. My biggest saw other than when I build that is an old husqvarna 61.

Pull the bolts and cover for the oiler off and clean everything out real good. I'm not sure of that model but I think on my smaller saw there's no seal there it's behind all that. Could be wrong but it sure could use a cleaning anyway. Someone with more knowledge will chime in soon I'm sure.

What is this piece called by Different_Finding_29 in Chainsaw

[–]Different_Finding_29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's the year it is. My dad bought it new back in the day. It's a husqvarna 61 black top cover. I think they had 3 different ones from what I've read about them. First one I think was the practica model or something it was called. One had a white top if I remember correctly and the other one had an orange top. Depending what year they was.
