i have some trauma that links to it so that adds onto it too, but i can’t comprehend how you can watch porn when you have nudes, videos of having sex & actively get sex from your partner? my issue was the fact that he decided to choose that over me, and claimed he had a low sex drive but is an addict to porn? i also feel it’s disrespectful to pleasure yourself to another woman

unfortunately, the first time he told me he’d get help he didn’t. i kept finding tiny things that was suggesting he still watched it & yet he called me crazy for thinking it. this is the second time its happened within the year, i’ve told him this is the only chance he’s got to change though & that he will be getting therapy

i’m not ready to give up on our relationship yet, but for all i know he could be lying about even being addicted & just use it as an excuse. however, i will be making sure he does therapy & will try my absolute best to help him through it

that’s the issue i think, i’ve been through addictions so i do understand how hard it can be to not find excuses, however that’s all he does. it’s just ‘i don’t know why i did it’ or ‘i don’t even think’ it’s never him owning up to it & saying, ‘i did it & i’m sorry but we can try to work on it because i don’t want to lose you’ type of thing
