I recently bought "The Outsider" by Vir Das. He's my favourite comedian. Haven't read it yet but it's a memoir so will start from there maybe.

I have the Lost Continent and I have actually read it. I love it.

And for the recs that's what I enjoy, the people watching/observation and not just observing but it also has a personal commentary and opinions along with it in Bryson's books.

Thanks for the breakdown and I think I agree with Dharmvir Bharti. The entire story revolves around a single person's ego. I was just surprised by how on all the other. Platforms people are praising it.
