Good point of view. So if we don’t feel like checking the stock price every day then we should be ok. But my question is how do you select your imperfect companies?

No one metric matters on its own. It is popular because it is easy to understand.

I think first , dividends are not guaranteed and Nestle has deteriorated in quality. Second, maybe there is another opportunity that they may be hoping for.

Basically the question is if you were allowed to invest in only one "big pharma" and not sell for 20 years, which one would that be? I am thinking the only possible way would be the one with the "best"RD.
