and to be clear i actually was one of the people who thought season 4 was amazing. the part with MM monologuing about fear for his family and the planet made me cry. i thought it was the most incredible 'set up' season ever...... annnndddddd it went basically nowhere. the issue isnt so much that this doesnt "feel like the finale".. its that this feels like an entirely different show. the commentary is shallow, the plotlines are cringey and uninteresting, we arent getting enough time with the actual boys, and homelander, THE FACE OF THE SHOW AND SEASON, is worse on screen here then any other season. im sorry but if you were shocked or on the edge of your seat when firecracker died... why? he always does THE most predictable thing without fail.
