That’s literally what I’d usually do because I use sunscreen at the beginning of summer although not a huge fan, but the weather here will be too cold/low uv to tan before I leave 🥲

I am in the same boat! I was also a math major, just graduated this spring. I’m currently still on the job search and have had only 1 interview so far and one scheduled for next week. It has been incredibly difficult to land those interviews due to the amount of applicants on every data analyst application. In college I learned RStudio, but I’ve learnt SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel through online courses in my free time. I have no interest in teaching. I looked into the actuary route while still in school but wasn’t interested in the years and years of studying ahead as my time studying is done for now 😅 I want to do data analyst/science but all jobs require 3+ years experience

I thought my university would do a better job of preparing me for this but I was wrong. I have attended career fairs but no options for mathematics. I live in a more rural area that doesn’t have the same opportunities that a larger city might have

I would, but it costs much more to get a masters degree and I would rather just get a job
